  1. Kelly, I didn't know you had such a rich animation background! Though I don't, I can usually spot the illustrators who've been animators, and when I can't, I am totally not surprised to find out that they are! Tony Fucile is the first person who comes to mind and, in fact, your work reminds me of HIS! :D He's one of my favorites, as are you (and Molly!) :D

    It was great seeing you yesterday, at the Princeton Book Festival, and though your books were sold out by the time I got to your table, I loved you drawing the sketch of your characters Louise, Art and the nameless black cat :) LOVED this interview, so thank you both for that, and it's obvious, your road ahead as an author/illustrator is a very bright "Magical Kingdom"-paved one :D
