  1. Russ, this was SO much fun to listen to, bringing you even more “to life” outside #kidlitart (which I adore! Also never thought that editors and art directors lurk.) :D You’ve always been so generous with everyone, including me, with advice and encouragement, and learning more about your online critique groups (I’m familiar with EVERYONE you’ve mentioned and know many online) and how your career has unfolded has been such a treat.

    I agree that librarians, teachers and Kidlitauthor/illustrators ARE of the same mind and community. It is one of passion, and I’m so grateful to be a part of <3 Go, Twitter!!! Listening to you guys talk about your experiences as how it was for you to be kids was so joyful for me. Thank you both! Go, Little Rascals! :D And a GIANT “CONGRATULATION!” on Faraway Friends! oxox

  2. I finally met Russ at the SCBWI Spring Conference 2015 and is such a nice guy and friendly. Enjoyed listening to his story.
